Don't be so jaded Scabbsy, the signing of Sparks to a close to league minimum contract is very newsworthy. After all, it's teh Leafs.

That epic fail from Pominville cost me an extra 1.6 points (which isnt much) on my fantasy matchup last night. But its playoffs and every point is huge at this point.

Not sure if necessary, but it is a cheap deal.

He, along with the rest of the league (fans included) just want to see Leafs in a cap crunch.

Other players like Point, Aho, Rantanen, Tkachuk all having just as good of years but of course that little rat doesnt mention either one of them.

Marner is hot again, so guaranteed the media starts talking offersheets again.

Leafs wont let it get to an offer sheet ... but I don't know they keep Kadri, Zaitsev, Nylander, Marleau and sign Marner and then sign Kapanen and Johnsson.

A couple players are gone this summer.

Some of those teams are broke and can't pay up until the cap max though. Carolina was only able to pay their GM 400K and as a result, got Waddell.

"Cap Room" only matters if teams can afford it.

There will be players gone, I am just not sure it's the big names non-Leaf fans are hoping for.

Connor Brown needs to be traded and try to move Zaitsev if you can.
